Boy did it rain!!! Got out of our campground just in time and when the rain came down in buckets we stopped at a great little Norwegian spot for breakfast. Had crepes with Lingdonberries and lefse, a Norwegian burito like wrap that Spencer loved. It rained so hard we had to wait 20 minutes just to be able to get out of the car. Still got soaked but it was worth it. Some nearby ates got 8-10 inches. We are guessing we got at least 5 where we were. Had to wade through a 5 inch stream in the middle of the road . Ended after breakfast and saw some beautiful skies after that. See pics below .
We camped that night at Devils lake. A HUGE lake with great fishing but we had no luck during our short stay. Too many mosquitoes!! But after dark we woke at 2 to watch the meteor showers. THEY WERE AMAZING!!!
